How do I know which therapist is right for me?

Finding a therapist who feels like a good fit is an important part of the counseling process. Each of our therapists brings their own areas of experience, therapeutic approach, and personality to their work.

We encourage you to explore our therapist profiles and consider who you feel most drawn to. If you are unsure where to start, contact us. We can help you find a therapist who may be a good fit for your needs.

What makes Integrative Therapy Northwest different?

We are rooted in a holistic understanding of the person, so we approach healing through an integrative lens that attends to all aspects of our clients. We believe that each person has an innate wisdom that, within a safe therapeutic space, can be fostered and explored.

We also offer Lifespan Integration, a gentle, mind-body therapeutic method that helps clients process and integrate past experiences while remaining grounded in the present. Lifespan Integration can be helpful for a wide variety of concerns, but is especially used in working with trauma, complex trauma, attachment and relationship concerns, and emotional regulation.

What can I expect from my first session?

The first session is a wonderful opportunity for you and your therapist to get to know one another, assess your needs, explore your goals, and begin determining whether you are a good fit.

Your therapist will come with questions to prompt this exploration, but you do not need to have everything figured out ahead of time. All you need to do is show up!

How do I schedule an appointment?

To get started, you can contact us by phone or email. Whether you reach out to the practice directly or contact a specific clinician, someone from our team will respond to help you find a therapist who is a good fit for your needs, answer any questions you may have, and schedule your first session.

We are here to make the process as easy as possible for you!

How much does therapy cost, and do you accept insurance?

We know that questions about cost and insurance are an important part of deciding whether therapy feels accessible to you, and we are happy to help you understand your options. Each clinician's session rate can be found on their individual page of the website.

Our practice is in-network with:

  • Premera First
  • Premera Blue Cross
  • LifeWise Health Plan of Washington
  • LifeWise Assurance Company
  • Premera Blue Cross HMO

We are also in-network with many Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, including Anthem and Regence. Since coverage varies by plan, we recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your benefits and in-network coverage. If your insurance is out-of-network, we are happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your plan.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes! Every clinician at our practice offers telehealth therapy for those who prefer to meet virtually.

What if I'm not sure whether therapy is right for me?

This is an important question, and one that many people have. Our clinicians are trained to meet you where you are and, as a team, explore your needs and possible next steps.

The decision to continue therapy should always be an ongoing, collaborative discussion in which you feel free to grapple, question, and choose. It is not about your clinician deciding whether therapy is right for you, but about walking with you as you tune in to your own internal experiences and discover your needs. Together, we can explore what feels meaningful and helpful for you.
