I ground my approach in our embodied nature and the belief that we are created for profound connection—while also honoring the essential need for freedom in the story of each individual.
I hold a holistic view of healing that attends to body, mind, soul, and spirit, and I am rooted in a deep hope in the resilience of the human spirit and the redemptive nature of healing from our pain. I believe we are made in the image of God, and I am in awe at the significance of each person offering an unrepeatable glimpse of the presence of God.
Drawing from Relational Psychodynamic theory, Attachment theory, Depth Psychology, Narrative-Focused Trauma Care, and Lifespan Integration, I believe the therapeutic relationship can be a transformative space where the healing power of unconditional love and presence is experienced. Within this embodied, intersubjective relationship, we gently uncover stories of harm and shame, bringing to light unconscious patterns of coping and relating. I trust in the sacred work of engaging pain alongside beauty and possibility, where meaning is co-created, pain is transformed, and one’s sense of self deepens through growing freedom, resilience, and identity.
Ultimately, I ground myself in the truth that we are all wounded—and to be invited into someone’s healing journey is not only sacred, but a profound and humbling honor.
